Head, Rivera Reference Services Department

The University of California Riverside Libraries seeks a creative, dynamic, and user-focused librarian to lead the Reference Services Department of the Tomás Rivera Library. The University of California, Riverside (UCR) is one of ten campuses of the University of California system.

The Head of Reference Services is a critical position in the Libraries’ support of campus academic programs and research.  Reporting to the Assistant University Librarian for Research and Instructional Services, the successful candidate will manage the department comprised of 11.75 professional and staff personnel.  The candidate will lead the Rivera Library Reference Services Department in developing, implementing, and assessing innovative reference, instruction, information literacy, and outreach services and programs in support of learning, teaching and research.   Salary Range: $56,496 - $95,388.  Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
